Holiday Sandies Cookies by Irene D’amico

1 cup butter
1/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tablespoon water
2 1/2 cups flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, water and flour and mix well. Stir in 1 cup chopped pecans. Roll into balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Remove from oven. While hot, roll in confectioner’s sugar. Roll in sugar again when cooled.
