Cornbread by M. Hollinger

3/4 cup cornmeal
1 1/4 cup flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup sugar
dash of salt
1 egg

In large bowl, mix dry ingredients together. Add egg, milk and oil. MIx until just damp. Overmixing will make dough tough. Pour into lightly greased 10 inch round pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
