Old Fashioned Chili by Dianne Biondolillo
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cans red kidney beans
- 2 cans pinto beans
- 2 cans black beans
- 1 can diced tomato
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1-6 oz can tomato paste
- 2 packages chili seasoning
- 1 small red pepper, diced
- red pepper (optional)
- salt to taste
In large kettle cook meat, pepper, and onion until meat is browned. Drain grease. Add beans, tomato and spices.
Cover. Bring to boil. Cook 45 minutes. Scoop into bowls. Top with a tablespoon of sour cream or shredded cheddar cheese.
